What Is Stop Motion Animation?
· Taking photos of an object.
· Moving object slightly and taking another photo.
· Repeat the process.
· Play the photos back in sequence, to make a story, AN ANIMATION!
There a range of different stop motion animation, many of which can viewed be daily on television during the advert breaks. A very popular advert that uses animation and many might recognised is Comparethemarket.com who use Vlad the Russian Meerkat as their mascost, with his very memorable catchphrase 'Simples'. However as an example a personal favourite of mine is the bottled water company, Evian's baby & me advert from April 2013:-
